Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif app? its benefits for students.


On 24 January 2022,  Ehsaas is launching the Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif app to facilitate Ehsaas beneficiaries to enroll their children in the Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif (School stipends) programme. The android app can be accessed at Google play store.

Ehsaas Education Stipends (school stipends) has been rolled out to support education of 10

million children in all 160 districts.

The programme includes primary, secondary and higher secondary school stipends. Children

aged 4 to 22 years from all Ehsaas eligible families can enroll for the school stipends.

The three-year budget of the programme is Rs. 100 billion.

Primary school going boys get a quarterly stipend of Rs. 1,500 and girls Rs. 2,000; secondary
school boys receive Rs. 2,500 and girls Rs. 3,000; and at higher secondary level, boys get Rs.
3,500 and girls Rs. 4,000.

The Ehsaas Education Stipends programme with higher incentive for girls, has been designed to

encourage parents to send their children particularly girls to schools.

Ehsaas has also introduced a one-time graduation bonus of Rs. 3,000 to encourage girls to

complete primary education. This award is being given to girl students completing Grade 5 from

Ehsaas eligible families.

To checkmate abuse, the programme has been made end-to-end digital.

All payments are made to mothers of children. Disbursements are linked to the 70%

school/college attendance.

A specialized Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif app has been developed for beneficiary families to

facilitate the digitally enabled enrollment of children. Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaef app can be

Eligible families can also reach out to tehsil offices of Ehsaas all over the country to enroll their children.

Rawalpindi Police crackdown against kite sellers and flyers

Feb 5, Rawalpindi district police has started the crackdown against kite flying ban violators including sellers and flyers in the city. During recent crackdown police has arrested 58 violators and recovered over 13000 kites and 200 kites flying string rolls. Police have conducted frequent raids and operations in this context around the city. According to a police spokesman, the CPO had directed the officers concerned to utilize all available resources to arrest the kite flying ban violators, kite sellers and those involved in aerial firing.
