Imran announces to lead long march from KP

PESHAWAR, May 24 :Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday announced that he would lead the long march to Islamabad from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday. Addressing a press conference here, Imran Khan claimed that a large number of people, including women and youth from all the provinces would march towards the Federal Capital to press the demand for fresh election in the country. He said the PTI march would be totally peaceful and there was no justification for  crackdown against his party workers. Holding a peaceful protest was their democratic right, he added. He said a free, fair and transparent election was the only solution of the economic challenges, such as price hike and rupee devaluation. "We need to stand on own feet as quickly as possible rather than relying on the International Monetary Fund." Snow Festival at Gabin Jabba, Swat district starts from Feb 25

After successful completion of Kalam and Galiyat snow festivals that attracted thousands of tourists and adventure sportsmen, the Government of KP is going to organize a three days snow festival at scenic Gabin Jabba in Swat district from February 25-27, 2022 to promote adventure and winter sports in the province. As per Junaid Khan, Deputy Commissioner Swat, traditional stalls, food court, sports, ice village, kids play area and cultural events have been planned for Gabbin Jabba snow festival starting from February 25 in the newly explored tourists resort of Pakistan. Gabin Jabba would be yet another major event of winter sports in Swat bringing together thousands of skiers, skaters, snowboarders and adventure enthusiasts from across the country. Besides, culture events, music, traditional singers, khattak dance and Rabab with Tabla would  also enthrall tourists.
